South East Asphalt Celebrates 20 Years Of Excellence

2023 marks a significant milestone for South East Asphalt Pty Ltd (SEA) as it notches up its 20th anniversary. Born from a 50/50 joint venture between Fulton Hogan and Boral Resources in July 2003, SEA has evolved into a thriving asphalt manufacturing and supply company, and been a real impact player for many Melbourne residential developments.

It was February 2004, when SEA’s first tonne of asphalt rolled off the production line. Over the past two decades, SEA has grown exponentially, producing over 100,000 tonnes of asphalt in the 2023/24 year. Its footprint can be found in the roads of industrial estates and residential driveways right across the south-east region.

Anatoly Shulkin, SEA Business Manager, says the business has earned its stripes though reliable service.

“The business is now a well-established and known company and carved out a reputation as a preferred supplier of a wide range of asphalt products. It is also acknowledged as a reputable and reliable service provider,” says Anatoly.

The company sources raw materials from Fulton Hogan and Boral Resources quarries, meeting Department of Transport (DoT) specifications. The quality control is maintained in a National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA)-accredited laboratory, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards.

The commitment to quality extends beyond its products to encompass its staff, contractors, suppliers, and customers. With an excellent record in safety, SEA stands up for the well-being of its employees and partners.

The business is strategically located in the Cardinia Shire, one of Victoria’s fastest-growing municipalities and is well-placed to reliably contribute to the region’s future development.

“As SEA reaches its 20-year milestone, we look back on its journey with pride and anticipate a future filled with growth and continued excellence. The south-east region is earmarked for sustainable growth, and our SEA team stands ready to supply the asphalt needed for tomorrow’s infrastructure,” says Anatoly.
