Helping To Keep Our Cities Tidy

FH9

As part of Fulton Hogan’s ongoing commitment to give back to the local communities our teams banded together donating their time, energy and efforts to clean up popular areas ahead of the holiday season.

The Nelson team spent approximately 200 hours as part of a dedicated community clean-up to help keep the popular coastline area tidy. Scores of Fulton Hogan people could be seen picking up litter around Tahunanui Beach for local families and visitors could enjoy the beach over the holiday season.

“We saw an opportunity to support the local councils, and the wider community, by getting our hands dirty and giving these popular family destinations a bit of a pre-Christmas ‘spruce-up’,” said Andy Allen, Fulton Hogan’s Nelson Regional Manager.

Our maintenance crews were giving up their time up on the North Island too. At Levin, 100kms north of Wellington, our teams rolled up their sleeves to help out their local council and community. They donated time collecting green waste from Donnelly Park and clearing rubbish along the shoreline of Waitarere Beach for the Horowhenua District Council so the local community could enjoy litter free open spaces.

This is just a few of the examples of how Fulton Hogan says thank you to the local councils and the communities in which we operate.
