Collaborative approach

At Fulton Hogan, our international infrastructure specialists are known for our collaborative approach. Our expert teams have a strong track record of working with other parties to achieve rail infrastructure and rail construction project outcomes on time – and on budget.

Fulton Hogan has enjoyed joint venture operations with recognised rail infrastructure experts, John Holland, since 2011. Combining both companies’ resources, geographic spread and engineering expertise in the rail and tunnelling areas, we provide large-scale construction and maintenance services for KiwiRail, as well as operators of Auckland’s light rail system Veolia.

Wealth of experience

Our reputation in rail construction across Australasia brings our wealth of experience to all our projects and we are proud to deliver quality results in often challenging environments, where access is tricky, hazards are plentiful and disruption to services must be avoided.

Because we supply many of our own materials, such as asphalt and crushed rock, quality pre-cast concrete beams, parapets, sleepers and barriers, supply and quality of our rail projects is guaranteed.
Fulton Hogan applies ‘best in class’ construction practices on all our rail projects and ensure careful planning and management of these projects.

This is particularly critical, given the nature of these transport hubs and their particular focus on safety, quality and the environment.

With our skilled, multi-disciplined engineering and design teams, as well as our reputation for partnering seamlessly with specialist sub-contractors, we are rapidly growing our reputation as the best choice in rail in Australasia.
