The D&C upgrade and rehabilitation of the WWTP was delivered as an ECI model to allow review and selection of the most appropriate equipment and construction methodologies and was delivered in two separable portions as follows:
Glenelg WWTP Inlet Works (greenfields site adjacent to existing WWTP)
- Bulk earthworks and retaining wall construction
- Concrete structures construction
- Tanks concrete rehabilitation
- Concrete structures remediation
- Redundant structures demolition
- Design, supply & installation of:
- inlet screening train
- grit removal and classification system
- odour control plant
Anderson Ave WWPS Upgrade (brownfields site within existing pump station):
- Bypass pumps installation
- Wet well rehabilitation
- Redundant infrastructure demolition
- Design, supply & installation of:
- pumps and pipework
- switchboards and control panels
- WWPS dual power supply
- Existing structure remediation
- Redundant equipment decommissioning
- New overhead gantry crane supply and installation
