Fulton Hogan has been delivering, managing and maintaining key infrastructure assets and estates for the Defence Forces in New Zealand and Australia for many years. Our services include the provision of surfacing treatments and major civil works; construction, management and maintenance of Defence facilities in urban, regional, remote and offshore locations.

With specialist airfield capabilities, Fulton Hogan has recently completed major works for the Australian Department of Defence at RAAF Bases Darwin, Tindal, Curtin and Woomera – while also maintaining infrastructure at Defence Airfield sites across Australia under our multi-year pavement maintenance contract. In new Zealand we have recently completed major pavement repairs at Whenuapai and construction of the facilities for the new Poseidon fleet at Ohakea.

At Fulton Hogan, we understand safety, quality and security is paramount and have the culture, specialist capability and experience across multiple disciplines to deliver exceptional outcomes on all Defence projects.

In recognition of these capabilities and company ethos, the Australian Defence Department recently awarded Fulton Hogan a further six year airfield maintenance contract covering the majority of Defence bases around the country. Together with our significant longstanding relationship with the New Zealand Defence Force and Ministry of Defence, this outcome now clearly consolidates Fulton Hogan as the pre-eminent Defence infrastructure services provider in the South Pacific.
